A househelp has been arrested in Kenya for allegedly causing bodily harm to a baby in her care.
The househelp, identified as Joyce Namuma, was said to have hit out angrily at the child by hitting the baby on the head with a glass plate.
Ms Namuma was said to have applied salt to stop the injury before fleeing to an area known as Banana in Kiambu County.
Reports say the baby’s mother sought medical help after returning to find her baby in pain.
