Lawal Nurudeen manager of Elizabeth R, an events company owned by late beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodaro, has revealed more details about the death of the 40-year-old.
“All I know is that she went to bed last night and did not wake up this morning, ” he told BBC Pidgin.
The former beauty queen was in Rivers State to open a coronavirus isolation centre.
Nuradeen, who was on the trip with her, confirmed that she had died in her hotel room.
The former Face of Lux who was married to Pastor Ituah-Ighodalo of Trinity House church Lagos, died on Sunday morning of a suspected cardiac arrest in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
She ran the Ibidun Ighodalo Foundation which supported couples with challenges having children.
