TV personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown launched her book Becoming the Queen of Talk TV on Saturday at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat was present at the book launch.
Mrs Afolabi-Brown also used the day to celebrate 10 days on television. The elegantly dressed TV presenter was joined by her husband Femi, friends and relatives.
Media entrepreneur and group chief executive officer of RED | For Africa Adebola Williams was also present.
The Okoya family was on ground to support Afolabi-Brown who co-hosts Your View on TVC.
In an Instagram post, the chief executive officer of Eleganza Group Shade Okoya wrote, “Congratulations @morayobrown on your book launch, super proud of you darling. Ahead of the launch, Afolabi-Brown revealed that the Kwara-born industrialist Prince Samuel Adedoyin was her first employer at the defunct City Express Bank.
She said she began working with Adedoyin through his daughter Olori Olusola Adedoyin-Alao.
In 2020, Afolabi-Brown was named as one of the 25 most powerful women in journalism in Nigeria, where she ranked 18th on the list compiled by Women in Journalism Africa.
