Music star Oxlade was listed as the number one trending musician of 2022 by Google on Thursday December 8.
Google’s 2022 Year in Search compiles the moments, people, topics, events, and places that captured the world’s attention each year.
Oxlade takes the number one spot in music category for the release of his sex video with an unidentified partner in February.
The 24-year-old made headlines on Wednesday, February 9 after a video of him having sex with a lady circulated on the internet.
Oxlade attributed the incident to betrayals, adding that he was not the type of person to put his personal business out there.
He wrote: “Betrayals are very real and in this same token I want to apologise to the woman in the video, who did not deserve this type of exposure and lastly apologies to my fans and well wishers.
The video came few months after another sex tape scandal involving pop diva Tiwa Savage generated heated outrage across social media earning her a top spot in the Google search in Nigeria last year.
