It was indeed a pleasant evening for the star-studded cast of Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre as some of your favourite celebrities like Sola Sobowale, Aisha Lawal, Uzee Usman and Ronke Oshodi-Oke attended the series watch party.
The recent watch party and cocktail dinner took place at the KAP Film Village and Resort in Igbojaye, Oyo State. The resort was transformed into a scene of elegance and style for the black-tie dinner party.
While the men were dressed in suits and blazers with bow ties to match, some of the women on the other hand rocked gorgeous and colourful dinner gowns for the occasion except for Sola Sobowale who wore black pants and a green and blue satin top.
At the black-tie dinner party, esteemed guests and stars of the series delivered heartfelt speeches in appreciation of Kunle Afolayan’s contribution to the creative industry.
The filmmaker also shared several photos from the event on his Instagram account in which he described the party as an electrifying night and an unforgettable evening.
He wrote: “An electrifying night at the Anikulapo Series: Rise of the Spectre watch party held @kapfilmvillageandresort! From esteemed guests to our incredible cast and crew, the energy was contagious. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening!”
Others at the event include Deyemi Okanlawon, Sunday Omobolanle, Olayiwola Olasunkanmi, Oyindamola Sanni, Owo Ogunde, Kunle’s daughter Eyiyemi Afolayan, Ayo Animashaun, Seun Soyinka, Kiitan Bukola, Folake Babatunde and Moji Afolayan.
Aniukapo: Rise of The Spectre was released on Netflix on March 1 and currently holds the title as the number one trending series on Netflix Nigeria.
