The National Hospital in Abuja has said that the minister of women affairs and social development Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye prepared doctors to receive actor Zack Orji.
The movie star was rushed to the hospital on Friday, December 29 after slumping in his house in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A video of the actor lying motionless on a hospital bed has been circulating on the internet since Sunday.
Spokesman of the National Hospital Tayo Hastrup said Kennedy-Ohanenye provided the advance notice to the workers even before Zack got to the hospital, reports The Nation.

Hastrup said: “Two days ago, the minister called me to say that we should be prepared to receive Zack Orji. The minister even paid the deposit while pleading that we should be ready to receive him.
“He was brought in around 10 p.m, but by then we had made all the arrangements, though I wasn’t around.
“We got everything and everyone ready. When he was brought in, we received and admitted him.”
Hastrup said he could not tell the actor’s current condition since he was not around. He, however, assured that Zack is being cared for.
Zack is married to actress Ngozi Orji. They have three children together.
