Singer, Aituaje Iruobe, popularly known as Waje, has revealed that she would no longer be quitting music after Irish rock star, U2, told her he liked her last album, Red Velvet.
The 38-year-old mother of one disclosed this via InstaStories on Tuesday.
“Bono sees my album and says ”Waje I judge a book by its cover so you got this right! Then gives me some secret tips. So seems like this gurl won’t quit,” she wrote.
Late in March, Waje revealed that the music business is draining her resources and leaving her frustrated.
She disclosed this is an emotional interview posted on her YouTube account.
In the 12 minutes clip, she lamented the backlash and poor acceptance of her last album adding that music wasn’t making money for her and she needed to try other things.
