Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has revealed that she battled Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) for seven years.
The Warri born said this in an Instagram post on Friday.
She said she got a lot of messages following her revelation that she had PCOS.
“Everyone is facing one battle or the other let’s encourage each other. This is very difficult for me to share but I can’t ignore the messages.
“One particularly made me emotional. You struggle to get pregnant then miscarriage raises its ugly head!! I have been there,” she wrote.
On Thursday the new mother ended the year with a pregnancy picture, she also thanked everyone who had been by her side through her tough moments.
She said, “This year l defeated PCOS. This year I carried my own child. To every woman TTC, please do not give up. Do not let anyone exploit you by selling all sorts of medications to you, be careful. Please try to be happy and trust this God.
“If anyone is mocking you, try to avoid and protect your space. The God that did it for me will rise up for you in due season. We shall all see the new year and celebration will be our portion.”
Etinosa welcomed her daughter on December 26.
