Singer and actor, Iledare Oluwajuwonlo (better known as Jaywon), has admitted that he is not sure if he has benefitted from the proceeds of internet fraud popularly known as yahoo yahoo.
The 33-year-old musician made the admission in a chat with punchng.com.
Speaking candidly about funding in the industry, he said: “I cannot really say that I have never collected money from a yahoo boy or not.
“There are people one feels are involved in legitimate business without knowing that they are fraudsters behind closed doors.”
Jaywon however said that he was only interested in anything that helped the growth of the music industry.
“As far as I’m concerned, anything that would make the industry grow is welcome.”
The musician popularly known as Oba Orin recently bought a bought a Mercedes Benz to celebrate his 33rd birthday.
