Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, has denied reports that she spent N20 million on her son, Olusoji’s, wedding in 2018.
The 57-year-old actress denied the erroneous figures in a chat with punchng.com.
Speaking about becoming a grandmother, she said: “I feel excited and grateful to God for my son. (And) we didn’t spend N20million on his wedding last year. You know people can say whatever they like.”
Boma Phillips and Olusoji Jacobs, the first son of Nollywood power couple, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva, married in July 2018.
The couple had their traditional marriage in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, home of the bride.
They later had a white wedding ceremony held in Lagos and officiated by Pastor Tony Rapu.
The couple recently welcomed their first child named Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanemi Abimbola Jacobs.
