Kingsley Nnadi, husband of late comedian Ada Jesus says he did not expect her to die at such a young age.
Ada Jesus died on Wednesday, April 21 after a battle with kidney failure. She was 23 years old.
Speaking in an interview with PUNCH, her 28-year-old husband confessed that he was not in a good emotional state.
“I am not feeling okay at all.
“My wife was someone I loved so much. It is so heartbreaking and sad that she has died. I was with her at the hospital when she gave up the ghost. I was staring at her till she gave up. I never thought she would die at such a young age.
“Even when she gave up in my presence, I still had hopes that she would come back to life,” Mr. Nnadi said.
Prior to her death, Ada Jesus had an altercation with Nollywood actress Rita Edochie and controversial Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, both of who rained curses on her, stating that she would not recover from her illness.
Rita, sister-in-law to veteran actor Pete Edochie, later released a video saying that she had forgiven the comedian.
