Actress Annie Idibia has knocked the producers of the Netflix reality show Young Famous & African for editing scenes where she talked about her career and personal life, leaving only conversations about her marriage to veteran singer 2face.
The actress took to her Instagram story on Monday to give details of other events that did not make the final editing of the show.
According to Annie, so many scenes were taken out of the show. She also said she did not travel to South Africa just to plan her wedding as suggested by critics.
In one of her posts, she said: “So many scenes were taken out of the show like so many at the end of the day. hmm. I didn’t go to SA 4 whole months to plan a wedding. I went there for work. I was there for work.
“I gave them the mother, I gave them the tasking career woman in entrepreneur and finally, I gave them the wife. Told my story as genuine as I could be in all honesty I gave my whole me to it sadly none of those scenes made it to show. Took out my work.
“The main role I pray as a mother in my children’s lives and only put out – my love and marriage. Regardless all in all I am happy for the opportunity,” she wrote in another Insta story.
Lastly, the mother of two wrote: ” When I said my name is Annie Macaulay you will know about me. I knew all the loads of work I was doing out there for 4 whole months Everything was taken out too, all the hard work. But hey Let’s all go on with your perfect lives. I gave my all out there but as usual the same old thingy.”
