Actor Segun Arinze has responded to recurring allegations of homosexuality within the Nigerian film industry, stating unequivocally that he has no ties to such activities.
Speaking during an interview on Arise TV, Arinze said, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. Well, if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem.”
The 59-year-old actor expressed his disdain for controversies, emphasising his commitment to a straightforward and professional lifestyle.
“I like living my life straightforward, doing my business, and being a professional that I am,” he remarked.
Segun whose career spans over three decades, is celebrated as one of Nollywood’s most versatile actors, having appeared in over 250 films.
In addition to his acting accolades, he has served as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and currently leads the Association of Voiceover Artists of Nigeria (AVOA).
