Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) on Monday said she does not like the back seats at the Senate.
Akpoti-Uduaghan was recently sworn in as senator after the Court of Appeal affirmed the ruling of a tribunal which sacked Abubakar Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmaker said in an Instagram post that the ‘efiko’, a local word for bookworm, which she is makes her hate back seats. She, however, added that the best seats had already been taken before her arrival at the Senate.
“So we had an emergency session today … still found myself sitting at the back of the hall. The efiko in me hates back seats 😂. But what can I do? Best seats are already taken!!!” she wrote.

Akpoti-Uduaghan said her husband Emmanuel Uduaghan’s visit lifted her spirit.
“Then baby boo came visiting which renewed my energy. Guess what we talked about,” she wrote.
She concluded that the management team of telecoms giant MTN paid a visit to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
“Exhausted and sleepy but have to study a few pages of the Senate’s Rules to catch up quickly since I missed the orientation exercise,” she wrote.
