Singer, Timaya, says his children have been a blessing and he does not regret having them out of wedlock.
The 38-year-old born Enitimi Odom is the father of three children from two different women.
Speaking in an interview published in vanguardngr.com, the singer said, “I have no regrets; everything has been a lesson and I’m grateful for them. I can’t think of anything I’d change if given the chance to go back in time.”
He added that fatherhood has not cost him anything, but had instead taught him a lot of patience.
Like fatherhood, being famous has been a teacher for the ‘Dem Mama’ singer.
“Stardom has taught me to stay true to myself, understand my purpose; because when I do, it gets a bit easier to navigate through all the stuff that gets thrown at me”, he said.
Timaya recently said in a Punch interview that his children mean the world to him, and that his happiest days are their birthdays.
