Ifeoluwa Ademuwa, winner of the Lagos State Private Schools Spelling Bee competition sponsored by MTN mPulse, says he wants to prevent people from dying the way his father did.
The 14-year-old stated this last Thursday during a visit to MTN headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos as the company’s first one-day kid CEO.

After receiving a cash prize, customised bags and other items, he joined the 5G demonstration on the ground floor where he met MTN ambassadors, Dakore Egbuson-Akande and Praiz.
Sharing his moving story on how his father died after a brief illness, Ademuwa said he wants to ensure that others do not experience that same pain.
“I want to be a doctor because of what happened to my dad. I want to save people so that they don’t have to go through the pain,” he told those present.

Ademuwa was joined by other finalists from the spelling bee contest who made up his executive team as MTN one-day CEO.
