Queer singer Temmie Ovwasa popularly known as YBNL Princess has revealed that she does not want to have children, stating that she doesn’t want her kid to end up becoming a heterosexual.
The YBNL Princess made this known in an Instagram post on Sunday.
“There are so many reasons I don’t want to have kids, but on top of that list is my heterophobia. Imagine gathering money to find a sperm donor, to have a child and that child turns out to be a hetrosexual, a heterosexual in my home,” she said.
Rapper Olamide discovered her in 2016 after she posted samples of her songs on social media. Olamide signed her onto his record label where she thrived as the only female artiste until her exit in December 2020.
Nigeria has a Same-Sex Prohibition Act, signed into law in 2014, which prohibits same-sex marriage or public show of same-sex relationships. Defaulters are liable to a jail term of 10 to 14 years.
