I had a crush on Oyedepo’s daughter but she liked my brother — Adeboye’s son

Leke Adeboye

Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of the revered clergyman Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said that he used to have a crush on Love Oyedepo, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo.

Leke is married to Titilope and they have four children. Love, on the other hand, is married to Pastor Stephen Ogah, an associate Pastor at the Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Living Faith Church Worldwide.

In his Confession Box podcast on Thursday where he hosted Oyedepo’s son Isaac, Leke revealed, “I used to have a crush on your sister, Love, but she was crushing on my brother.”

He did not reveal which of his brothers he was talking about.

Leke recounted proposing to his wife without a ring, adhering to the rules of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

He said that he read a scroll to her, promising she would never regret marrying him.

Meanwhile, last year, Isaac announced his new ministry, Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, raising concerns he might not be on good terms with his father.

However, those concerns were dispelled when Oyedepo blessed his son at the ministry’s unveiling in November.

“I’m still in Winners, I’m still in Living Faith, I’m still a member, I’m still a steward,” Isaac said during the podcast.

“I think we just overcomplicate very simple things. Before I came in full-time to pastor I was a member. What I see is that it’s a transition phase, nothing really changed.”
