Veteran hip-hop artiste, Eedris Abdulkareem, has commiserated with D’banj over the loss of his son, Daniel.
Little Daniel died on Sunday in a drowning accident at the family’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
He was 13 months old.
Eedris took to Instagram on Tuesday to extend his condolences to the ‘Koko Master’ and his wife.
He also joined a band of those saying the couple should learn from the tragic incident.
“May his gentle young soul rest in peace. I pray for his parents at this difficult time and hope they learn from their mistakes. May Allah console them immensely,” he wrote.
D’banj’s wife, Lineo, was said to have been at home when the tragic incident occurred.
Some followers on social media have blamed her for being careless and they attributed the death of the one-year-old to negligence on her part.
