Music video director TG Omori, has disclosed that he had a failed kidney transplant, following his brother’s selfless donation in an attempt to improve his kidney-related condition.
TG took to X on Wednesday to disclose the ongoing health challenges he faces, asking Nigerians for their prayers.
He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”
The cinematographer also revealed that he has undergone surgery three times already, expressing resilience by stating that it wasn’t his time to die.
Earlier reports from QEDNG highlighted Omori’s emotional recounting of his brother’s decision to donate a kidney to save his life.
“Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again. Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die,” he shared.
TG Omori, who has been away from the public eye for some time, posted a image of himself in a hospital bed on Instagram, receiving oxygen.
Prior to the recent transplant, the award-winning music producer had been sharing cryptic updates about his health on social media.
