Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has revealed that she left her ex-husband, Olakunle Fawole, after getting what she wanted.
The 36-year-old said this on Instagram on Friday while replying a critic who dropped a comment on her post.
The Gold Statue actress posted a picture from a movie set showing her giving attention to actor Freddie Leonard while he ate.
“With @Freddieleonard….If you know Nollywood, then you know it’s a powerful combination,” she captioned it.
The critic then left a comment implying that the actress did not pay as much attention to her marriage, saying: “how I wish you did all this to your real husband he wouldn’t have left you.”
Yvonne replied: “Oh he didn’t leave me, I left after I got what I wanted. Now that you know, do you feel like killing yourself?”
Yvonne Jegede and Olakunle Fawole, the son of the late actress, Bukky Ajayi, went their separate ways in 2019 after one year of marriage.
The marriage which produced a son, Xavier, was plagued by rumours of infidelity which the actress recently denied.
