Actor Fred Amata has openly expressed affection for his former partner and colleague Ibinabo Fiberesima just days after she shared a photo with his ex-wife Agatha Amata.
On Monday, Ibinabo took to Instagram to post pictures of herself and Fred from the recent African Movie Academy Awards event held earlier this month.
In her post Ibinabo fondly referred to Fred as the father of their daughter, showering him with affectionate words.
“My pikin papa. Papa Zino @fredoamata. We love you 🥰,” she captioned the post.
Fred responded warmly in the comments, praising Ibinabo’s caring nature and big heart while affirming his own feelings.
“Ever thoughtful, ever caring Ib, with your big heart… Love you too,” he wrote.
In a subsequent post, the actress shared a picture of Fred and their daughter Zino.
Fred once again left a comment saying, “My extremely talented, extremely sensitive, extremely beautiful Ewomazino, ready to take on the world with your exceptional skills and talent. You are truly my superstar. And I love you, my baby girl.”
The 61-year-old also reposted the picture of him and Ibinabo on his Instagram Story.
These posts come shortly after Ibinabo was seen reconnecting with Agatha Amata, Fred’s former wife.
Ibinabo posted a photo of herself and Agatha at the fourth edition of the Peace Anyiam-Osigwe (PAO) Nigeria Digital Content Regulation Conference, set to the background of Peter Okoye’s song ‘Winning.’
In the caption, Ibinabo praised both herself and Agatha as strong women and expressed hope that they would continue to “keep winning.”
Fred and Agatha Amata separated in 2005 after years of marriage during which they had two children, Oreva and Stephanie.
Following the split, Fred began a relationship with Ibinabo and the couple welcomed a daughter, Zino.
Despite speculation over the years about a possible reconciliation between Fred and Ibinabo—especially after they appeared together at Omotola Jalade’s birthday celebration—Ibinabo clarified that they are not back together, stating that Fred is simply “her baby daddy” and that they maintain a cordial relationship.
