Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has admitted that she misses attending parties, locally called ’owambe’.
The 42-year-old made this known on Instagram on Friday.
’’Oh how I miss owanbes…,’’ she wrote.
This is not the first time the mother-of-two has confessed to a love of partying.
In an Instagram post she shared on January 13, the businesswoman revealed that she woke up late after a weekend of partying.
She wrote, ’’After a series of events over the weekend! Today Monday I woke up late, one of the perks of being your own boss. Off to the work that pays my bills!… How did your weekend go guys? Mine was fun! Fun!’’
An Owambe is a large party thrown by Nigerians, especially the Yoruba, usually characterised by a show of luxury, lavish spending, colour, extravaganza, paparazzi, lots of food, music, dance and networking.
