Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, daughter of the late Pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, on Sunday paid tribute to her mum 18 years after her death.
Bimbo, who was popular for her Singles and Married TV programme, died on December 11, 2005 from injuries sustained in the Sosoliso plane crash the previous day.
Mrs Odukoya-Ijogun, associate senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, said via Instagram that although she misses her parents she was marching forward.
“18 years today! My Mother… Your Legacy is unshakable!!! Love to my Papa. Missing you both but Marching forward. Love you Forever!” She wrote.
Five years after her mother’s death, Odukoya-Ijogun’s father married Nomthi, a South African. Nomthi however died on November 9, 2021, following a two-year battle with cancer.
Odukoya-Ijogun’s father died on August 7, 2023 in the United States. He was aged 67.
