Mavins Records former signee Hadiza Blell, better known as Di’Ja, has said she never left the label’s founder Don Jazzy.
The 39-year-old stated this on Monday as she celebrated her birthday.
Her statement was a reply to an X (formerly known as Twitter) user who asked why she left Don Jazzy, speculating that Di’Ja would have been bigger than another female artiste Tems by now.
Replying, the ‘Awww’ singer wrote “I never left. Kindly know this. Life happens and we are grateful for all the love and happenings. God bless Tems, and I need her to get bigger.”
Di’Ja also shared videos of gifts she received for her birthday including a cake from Mavin.
“Thank you to my family, friends and family at Mavin for my cakes. I must gain weight this year,” the mother of three wrote in another tweet.
