Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has denied a claim that she slept with Nollywood actor Jim Iyke on a movie set.
The 38-year-old shut down the rumour in a recent interview with Okyeame Quophi, published on Ghpage TV in which she stated that the speculation is the craziest news she has had about herself.
The steamy scene from the film My First Wife, which involves an intimate moment between Jim Iyke and Nikki Samonas, garnered widespread attention upon its release in 2015.
Despite the intimate nature of the scene, characterised by fervent embraces and suggestive actions, Nikki Samonas categorically dismissed any insinuations of an off-screen relationship with Jim Iyke after it was rumoured that they are dating.
Although Okyeame claimed Jim admitted to sleeping with the actress, Nikki however insisted that the Nigerian actor never said so.
“Actually, s*x scenes are shot with minimum crew members because of how sensitive it is,” she said.
“So there’s never be real sexual intercourse with Jim Iyke on TV?” Okyeame asked.
“Never,” Nikki replied.
The daughter of a Greek father and a Ghanaian mother, Nikki graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication design from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The City People Award nominee has been featured in movies like Beyonce, The Will, Red Label, War of Roses and Single and not Searching.
