Comedian Mark Angel has revealed that he is no longer managing the careers of teen comedians Emmanuella and Aunty Success.
Mark disclosed this during a TikTok live session, where he addressed ongoing speculations about the shift.
He explained that while he has stepped down from managing the young stars, their careers are now being handled by a professional agency.
“There was a time when I managed Emmanuella and Success when they were kids, but I no longer manage them.
“I am too busy to manage them. So, they have an agency that manages them, but I still work with them,” he said.
Mark clarified that despite stepping back from management duties, his relationship with the girls remains strong, and he continues to work with them with the same dedication that brought them fame.
The comedian introduced his niece Emmanuella Samuel, and his cousin Success Madubuike, popularly known as Aunty Success, to the spotlight through his Mark Angel Comedy series on YouTube.
The series, launched in Port Harcourt, became widely popular for showcasing his family and neighbors.
This revelation follows a recent controversy involving former crew member Denilson Igwe.
In a viral podcast video in August, Denilson accused Mark Angel of financial exploitation, claiming that he co-founded the Mark Angel Comedy YouTube channel, which has since grown to over nine million subscribers.
Denilson alleged that at the channel’s peak, it generated $160,000 monthly, but he only received N50,000 as his first payment in 2016.
He further claimed that Emmanuella was paid just N20,000 monthly despite the channel’s substantial earnings.
To back his claims, Denilson released a document reportedly detailing an agreement between Mark Angel and Emmanuella.
