The 62-year-old disclosed this in a tweet on Sunday while encouraging individuals to seek help if they are in any pain.
“At the time I attempted suicide , I was sick and in pain. There was a volcano somewhere inside of me that needed to erupt and suicide seemed like an option to avoid the eruption.Don’t trivialize anyone’s pain just because it’s not physical and you cannot see it,” she wrote.
Betty Irabor is the Editor-In-Chief of Genevieve Magazine founded in 2003.
She recently celebrated clocking 62.
Betty is married to veteran broadcaster, Soni Irabor.
