Media personality Toolz Oniru has expressed her disappointment over the deportation controversy surrounding Tobi Adegboyega, founder of SPAC Nation.

The UK-based clergyman, known for his ostentatious lifestyle, recently lost a legal battle against deportation to Nigeria.

The case stemmed from allegations of financial misconduct, with reports claiming he misappropriated £1.87 million in church funds.

An immigration tribunal ruled against Adegboyega, citing his unlawful stay in the UK after overstaying his visitor’s visa in 2005.

Reacting to the news, Toolz criticised Adegboyega for tarnishing his family’s reputation, particularly that of his nephew, Hollywood actor John Boyega.

Refusing to refer to Adegboyega as a pastor, Toolz remarked, “John Boyega never claimed this fellow (I refuse to say Pastor) and see how his name has been dragged into this mess. Poor guy.”

The controversy has also sparked reactions from other public figures.

Social media commentator Solomon Buchi called out Adegboyega’s ally, Daddy Freeze, accusing him of selective criticism.
