Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has resolved to remain ‘irrepressible and dogged’ as he clocks 50.
Mr Keyamo recounted his travails in an early tweet on Tuesday, adding that he had grown ‘right in the eyes of the nation’.
“That young, radical and restless lawyer of yesterday who grew up right in the eyes of the nation is 50 years old today. From the detentions, trials & tribulations, to the successes, breakthroughs and triumphs, I remain irrepressible and dogged in pursuing anything I believe in,” he said.
Keyamo was moved last September by President Muhammadu Buhari from being Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs to assisting Chris Ngige in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The lawyer said he was considered for the move because of his versatility.
