Yinka Olugbenga, founder of God’s Own Grace Mission has declared that she will forever celebrate the late Prophet TB Joshua, her mentor and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
The 43-year-old stated this in a message she posted on social media on Saturday, June 4, a day before the first anniversary of Joshua’s death.
Joshua died on Saturday, June 5, 2021, exactly a week before his 58th birthday.
Popularly known as Prophetess Yinka, Olugbenga was a senior member of the Synagogue Church and one of those closest to Joshua.
She left the megachurch in September after Joshua’s widow, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, succeeded her husband as SCOAN leader.
Although she has gone on to start her own thriving ministry, Yinka still owes allegiance to Joshua and calls his widow mummy.
Declaring that she greatly misses Joshua, Yinka described him as quote “A caring, generous and loving father like no other!”
Yinka, who said in a bio published on her website that she lived with Joshua for 26 years added “The whole world missed your pure teaching of forgiveness, love, compassion towards others regardless of ethnic, culture, religion, difference, etc.
“You made forgiveness so easy, even when one does not receive it back.
“A man after God’s own heart. You lived your life for others.
“It is still like a dream to many not only me but the entire world.
“I shall forever celebrate you, knowing that you are not dead. You only changed position and appearance from this wicked world, to a glorious abode.
“If selflessness was a person, you made a very big difference. What you taught me can never be forgotten or erased from me.
“The legacy you gave me was nothing but prayer, steadfast to the thing of God. Learn to forgive others, even when l doesn’t receive it from others.
“Your departure showed how special you are in the hand of your creator, who commissioned you for the glorious mission which you were born for, lived for and you truly died for as you often said.
“REST ON GOD’S GENERAL.”
