Afrobeat star, Seun Kuti, has revealed that he used to spend weekends in the home of reggae singer, Majek Fashek.
The 37-year-old made this known on Wednesday when he shared a tribute to the ‘Send Down the Rain’ singer, whom he described as ‘big Fela loyalist.’
“RIP to the rain maker himself. I normally do not do this, check my page except I am truly mourning with the family and in this case I am. Majek was a big Fela Loyalist and Friend and I spent many weekends at his house in our neighborhood with his son Randy…,” he wrote on Instagram.
Seun’s brother, Femi, had on Tuesday paid tribute to the late singer’s whose death had earlier been confirmed by his manager, Omenka Uzoma.
He described him as someone who ‘made great music and brought great vibes.’
