Filmmaker Kazim Adeoti has expressed solidarity with his wife, actress Mercy Aigbe, after her house was damaged by fire.

On his Instagram page on Friday, Kazim shared a photo of Mercy alongside a message emphasising his unwavering support for her.

“We have been tested, and our faith remains strong because Almighty God is the best handler of our affairs,” he wrote.

“I stand firmly with my darling wife, Minah Mercy Aigbe-Adeoti, at this trying period. With God on your side, you shall recover in multiple folds. Keep being the strong, vibrant, and focused woman that you are.”

He also extended gratitude to family, friends, fans, and well-wishers who reached out, adding, “Your deep concern means so much to us. You indeed gave us a sense of love and belonging. We are grateful, and we look forward to experiencing God’s blessings, Insha Allah. Amin.”

The incident, which Mercy disclosed in a post on Instagram on Wednesday night, left significant damage to her property.

She shared a video showcasing the aftermath of the fire, prompting an outpouring of support from industry colleagues such as Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Adeniyi Johnson, Blessing Obasi, and Uzee Usman.

In an update on Thursday, Mercy expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support she received.

“My phone has been inundated with calls and texts,” she wrote, adding that the love and concern shown by fans and friends had deeply touched her.
