Entertainer and activist, Charly Boy, has responded to claims by former co-convener of activist group, OurMumuDonDo, Deji Adeyanju, that he received payments to speak against Atiku Abubakar.
The 67-year-old maverick entertainer gave his response via a tweet on Wednesday.
“When a Father sits in Silence, it’s because he is a Fada. Deji, me and you know weytin dey worry you, wey you no fit tell your fans. Nevertheless, I still love 💖 you, Try mellow on your break dancing my Son,” he wrote.
Deji Adeyanju had resigned from the OurMumuDonDo movement one week ago on the grounds that Charly Boy joined those he referred to as his ‘oppressors’ while he was in prison.
Adeyanju was recently released from the Kano Central Prison after three months in detention over allegations of murder.
In a fresh attack at Charly Boy on Wednesday, Adeyanju tweeted that he had evidence that Charly boy collected money from his ‘oppressors’ to speak against the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in February 23 election, Atiku Abubakar.
