Actress Regina Chukwu has opened up about her near-death experience with malaria saying she thought she was going to die.
The Yoruba-speaking actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to express gratitude to God for surviving the illness which she called a killer disease.
Regina said the illness was the gift she came back with from her movie location.
“That was the gift I came back with from location….. I tot I was gonna die! Never felt this sick before my whole life.
Malaria is truly a killer disease o. GOD IS GOOD Recuperating and I am thankful,” she wrote.
Several celebrities like Aisha Lawal, Lola Magret, Wumi Toriola, Arike Gold and others wished her a quick recovery in the comment section of the post.
Regina, a widow of 20 years has two children, a boy and a girl.
