Actor and model Tayo Faniran has revealed that his striking appearance is the result of cosmetic procedures, not just genetics or divine favour.
Speaking in an interview on Nollywood on Radio, the former Big Brother Africa star said he opted for enhancements like veneers, beard sculpting and hairline adjustments to boost his looks and confidence.
“I am guilty. I am also… I am guilty. I did my teeth, my teeth are veneers. I always tell people when they see my smile and they are like your teeth are so white, I do not want you to think that God was partial to me,” he confessed.
“So I tell them ‘look, I did this. I have veneers. These are like gemstones, they put it in your mouth, it is luxury. It is part of the things that make me feel like I am growing, grooving. Some people go clubbing, pop bottles and stuff like that.
“To some, maybe I want to do shopping, my cologne, I am vain, I am a model. I did my beards as well, I had a lower beard line and my hairline, I was not bald but I just did it,” he added.
Tayo emphasised that as a model, maintaining his appearance is part of his lifestyle, likening it to how others indulge in nightlife or fashion.
The reality TV star rose to fame during his time on Big Brother Africa in 2014 and has since transitioned into acting.
He has featured in notable films including Gangs of Lagos, Family Brouhaha, Labake Olododo and Dieko.
