Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya, has revealed that she had planned to celebrate her 31st birthday in Singapore but could not do so due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The United kingdom-born actress made this known on Instagram on Friday.
She wrote, ”…If someone had told me that this would be how I’d spend my birthday, I’d have laughed…I was supposed to be in Singapore! Alas, here we are…the impossible has happened…”
Beverly, who stars in the hit movie, The Wedding Party, celebrated her 30th birthday in Cuba in April 2019.
To mark the special occasion she shared some swimsuit photos on Instagram and wrote, “Happy birthday to me… Here’s a gentle reminder to myself of the body I intend to have another thirty years from now, future self you better remember!”
She won the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) for best documentary for her work, Skin, a look at colourism.
