Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham on Thursday said she would find it hard to forgive her colleague Desmond Elliot after the latter criticised social influencers over the use of social media.
A video of Desmond, now a lawmaker, lamenting the use of social media went viral on Thursday. It was from a session at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday.
In reaction, Toyin tweeted: “I can’t even forget I’m so disappointed I don’t know what to say to him cos I genuinely love him but truthfully the love is gone now and I will find it hard to forgive him.”
Desmond had on Monday told his colleagues at the assembly that social influencers, celebrities and motivational speakers should cut down on the “hate narrative” considering the large followership they command on social media.
