The General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Odumeje has issued a stern warning to Nigerians, cautioning them against taking videos or pictures of him in public.
In a viral statement released on Monday, the self-styled ‘Indaboski’ made it clear that he is a prophet, not a celebrity, and vowed to “spiritually destroy” the phones of anyone who records him without permission.
“I don’t do social media things. I’ve told you before, nobody should video me. If you see me on the road, don’t bring out your phone to take pictures. If you do, I will scatter that phone spiritually. I’m that bad. I’m a prophet, not a celebrity. Forever and ever, I remain the same,” Odumeje warned.
Known for his dramatic preaching style and frequent media appearances, Odumeje has long been a controversial figure in Nigerian religious circles.
Despite his provocative remarks, Odumeje maintains a large and loyal following, continuing to be a significant figure in Nigeria’s religious sphere.
