Actress Nkechi Blessing has said she would have tried to make her relationship with her ex-lover Opeyemi Falegan work out if they had gotten married.
The 33-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Sunday where she warned bloggers against referring to her as Falegan’s ex-wife.
She said: “I am going to say this for the very last time…… I was never married to anybody, my mama no collect my bride price from anybody before she die, nobody paid a dime on my head, I was only in an open relationship that everyone tot was marriage, if I were to be married I would have done everything to make it work…. Just today a stupid station still made reference to my past relationship…. Abeg una no dey tire? What the actual F*ck”.
The actress and her ex made headlines in April after they stormed social media to throw several accusations against each other as they announce their breakup.
A few weeks after the breakup, Nkechi confirmed she has found love again.
The actress stated that dating all over again is not as difficult as she had imagined and it is even easier when her man cannot go a day without speaking to her.
She wrote on Instagram: “Dating all over again is actually not as hard as I envisaged especially when he can’t go a day without talking to you.”
The post was made weeks after Nkechi Blessing stated that she was not ashamed to fall in love again despite the break-up.
She wrote: “Regardless of what I have been through in relationships, I will never advise anyone against finding and falling in love. Love is a beautiful thing and I am never ashamed of falling in love again. don’t worry about me, I am good.”
