Asuen Ighodalo, brother-in-law of the deceased former beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo, has revealed that her mother had planned to give her a house on her 40th birthday.
Mr Ighodalo revealed this on Saturday at the funeral service held in Ibidun’s honour at the Trinity House, Lagos.
“From that Sunday morning, I drew strength from Ituah. We spent time with Ibidun’s mum and Ituah gave her strength.
“Ibidun’s mum had been working on a house that she wanted to give Ibidun for her 40th. So she took my hands and showed me the house,” he said.
Ighodalo added that Ibidun’s mother said she was going to give him the keys to the house so he could give them to Ibidun’s husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, on July 18 who would then hand it over to Ibidun on July 19.
He said that the late beauty queen’s mother wanted to show how much she loved her daughter.
Ibidun who died on June 14 in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State would have been 40 on July 19.
