Former governor of Delta State James Ibori on Thursday posted to Twitter a video of passengers of Lagos-Ibadan train route who were stranded midway when the train reportedly ran out of diesel.
Mr Ibori said the passengers were stranded for two hours.
“Lagos-Ibadan train gets passengers stranded for 2 hours in the bush due to diesel finishing,” he said.
A Twitter user King Isaiah Obadare said passengers and crew were “stuck in the forest” before a drum of diesel arrived and the train was refueled.
A spokesman for the Nigeria Railway Corporation Mahmood Yakubu told Channels TV that he does not comment on “anything online.”
