The Nigerian Army has named Shaibu Ibrahim as Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The new posting was released on Friday in a statement by acting Army spokesman, Sagir Musa.
Ibrahim, who is from Nigerian Army University, Biu, Borno State replaces Suleman Kazaure as the 18th head of NYSC.
Kazaure will now move to the Nigerian Army Resource Centre as Senior Resource Person.
Also, C.A. Bossman from Nigerian Army Archives was moved to Command Schools Services as Director, Command Schools Services, while E. Angaye was appointed Acting Director Veterans Affairs Department (Army).
The spokesman also said that B.A. Tsoho from Army Headquarters’ Department of Civil-Military Affairs had been moved to Nigerian Army Language Institute, as Commandant.
Nigerian Army University Biu, has also been named a new registrar in S.S. Ibrahim.
A.A. Goni, from 82 Division Education, is to resume at Army Headquarters Department of Civil-Military Affairs as Director Information while F.C. Onyeari from Headquarters Nigerian Army Supply and Transport is to resume as Acting Director Catering at Defence Headquarters.
According to the spokesman, the postings are to take immediate effect.
