Former Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Joe Abah, has said that he would rather go naked on national television than do a favour for one who cannot ask politely.
Dr Abah said this in a tweet on Monday in response to a request by a follower on Twitter to help him get a book by political commentator, Japheth Omojuwa.
“A favor from @DrJoeAbah. I need a copy of @Omojuwa’s book #DigitalWealthBook,” the follower, @AdebowaleIG, requested.
In reply, Abah wrote: “I would rather do a somersault stark naked on national TV than do a favour to someone that doesn’t say please and orders me by saying ‘I need.’ I will not do it in this life. If there was another life after this, I still won’t do it.”
Abah was recently appointed by Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, as the state consultant on donor support and grants.
He was among nine consultants appointed by Umahi to assist the government in various areas such as security, agriculture, education, internally generated revenue (IGR), solid mineral development, environment among others.
