A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has written an open letter to slay queens who demand money and give sex in return.
Omokri took to Facebook on Tuesday to condemn ladies who describe themselves as slay queens saying that love should not be commercialized.
He added that the expectation that their boyfriend must maintain them is immoral.
“Dear slay queen, It is true love is give and take. But that does not mean you give sex and take money. That is not love. This expectation that a boyfriend must maintain you is immoral.
“If all you bring to a relationship is sex, you are as replaceable as a used recharge card. Love should not be commercialized. Gifts are one thing. Maintenance are another.
“The regular demanding of money to take care of bills because you provide sexual favours is prostitution. Sex outside marriage is wrong. Sex for maintenance is even more wrong. Truth is really not bitter,” he wrote.
Omokri recently said that maintaining a girlfriend shows irresponsibility from a guy. Adding that men should only care for ladies that they are married to.
A follower didn’t buy the claim and she lashed at him for apparently trying to mislead men.
He subsequently replied in a post to Instagram saying that he wasn’t surprised at her response because she is part of the people he was referring to, a slay queen.
