Ifeanyi Ubah, owner of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, FC IfeanyiUbah, has vowed to ship out his players to China should they request such move.
The Asian nation has somewhat become the destination for many top footballers these days , attracting Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, and former Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, among others.
Ubah, a renowned businessman, who has invested massively in the club, insists he would jump at the offer to sell his players to the mega-rich country.
“We don’t want to be left out of this revolution in world football,” the oil magnate told Africanfootball.
“We want to sell our players to clubs who find them good enough to play in the Chinese Super League.”
Only last year Ubah sealed a massive partnership deal with top Premier League side, West Ham United.
The deal will among other things see the North London club establish a top football academy in Nigeria and take some players of FC IfeanyiUbah on trials.
The Anambra Warriors will tackle Al Masry of Egypt in the first round, first leg of the Confederation Cup on Sunday.
