Nigeria international Odion Ighalo has emerged as the top scorer in Saudi Arabia Pro League with 24 goals.
He scored a brace on Monday night to help his side Al Hilal to claim its 18th title.
The ex-Manchester United star opened the scoring for Al Hilal in the seventh minute. Ighalo doubled his tally for the Blue Waves in the 64th minute.
Six minutes after, Clayson Henrique da Silva Vieira scored a consolatory goal for Al-Faisaly to bring the scoreline to 2-1.
Commenting on his efforts, the 33-year-old wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, “He promised to announce me in foreign lands, 17 years after He’s still doing it, He’s God. He hasn’t failed me yet.”
Ighalo joined Al Hilal from Al Shabab in January.
The former Watford player has also announced he’s proceeded on holiday.
“Mission accomplished, The Eagle is going to rest and recharge for the new season. Signing out,” he posted to Instagram on Tuesday with photos of himself on an aircraft.
