Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo on Thursday night scored his second and third goals for Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth-round clash with Derby County.
The 30-year-old scored his second goal in as many starts for the Red Devils in the 41st minute after Luke Shaw had put United ahead in the 33rd minute.
Ighalo’s second and United’s third on the night came in the 70th minute.
The game ended 3-0 with United progressing at the expense of Wayne Rooney’s team.
Ighalo’s man of the match performance ensures United will face Norwich City in the quarter-finals.
The deadline day signee has now scored his first brace for an English club since netting twice for Watford against Liverpool in a Premier League tie in December 2015.
