Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, could be on his way back to the Premier League after just one season in China.
Ighalo, 28, enjoyed three outstanding years in England with Watford, hitting the net 33 times in 82 games.
He was at one point linked with giants, Arsenal and Manchester United, before suffering a dip in form – ultimately leading to his January exit in a whopping 20 million pounds deal.
However, his rich vein of form for Changchun Yatai could see him return to England.
Ighalo stood out in his first season in the Chinese Super League, notching 15 goals with an extra four assists.
Four Premier League sides have reportedly shown interest in the player.
They include Everton, West Brom, Southampton and Stoke City – all struggling this season.
In fact, the first two have already axed their managers and yet to announce a substantive replacement.
Everton, particularly, could be the likeliest destination for the Nigerian considering the Toffees are desperate to solve their goalscoring crisis.
Ighalo will probably jump at the opportunity as his family still resides in London.
