Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, was the star in Leicester City’s pre-season draw with Valencia on Wednesday.
Iheanacho opened the scoring for the Foxes after 11 minutes.
Some fine attacking play from James Maddison eventually saw the ball fall to the Nigerian, who rifled a first-time shot past Jaume Domènech on 11 minutes.
However, the La Liga outfit responded well and it was Parejo who was on target for his side, as he calmly slotted into the bottom corner eight minutes later.
Iheanacho wasn’t the only Nigerian on parade though.
Wilfred Ndidi and Layton Ndukwu who is of Nigerian descent played a key role.
Claude Puel’s team will begin the season with a trip to Manchester United next week Friday.
